The Artist is Creating Driverless Transport

The building and design of cars use to be started with the engine, using a mechanics team, and a marketing team. Now cars are being designed by the Royal College of Art. Where designing cars have becoming an art form, including comfort, design, and convenience. Where now cars will be driving themselves, cars will now be designed for office work, sleeping, and quietly socializing. “Vehicle design students at the Royal College of Art have been re-imagining the kind of cars that will be possible in an era of driverless transport,” (Shaw, 2015).

Most cars have been designed around the cockpit of the driver, with three passengers around it. The design of these new cars where there isn’t a driver has artists looking at very creative ways to redesign the car. Maybe in the future even looking at custom design. Bow Tie Kreative is very interested in the future of artists designing cars, and the creative ways modern comfort and convenience will look like.
